As Senior Legal Counsel 6 Product Regulatory, you help ensure that ASML2s advanced technology meets global product safety and compliance standards. Your work supports the development of systems that power the world2s microchips. These systems make smartphones, medical equipment, satellites, and countless digital tools possible.
In this role, you contribute to ASML2s mission to push the boundaries of innovation while meeting product regulatory and safety requirements worldwide. You work closely with experts across the company and help guide decisions that shape the lifecycle of ASML2s high9tech products.
Role and responsibilities
As Senior Legal Counsel 6 Product Regulatory, you act as a trusted legal advisor in a fast6moving environment. You help teams navigate regulatory complexity and support safe and compliant innovation across the company.
You will:
- Partner with product safety, regulatory, quality, and environmental teams to guide product compliance and safety strategy
- Provide clear legal advice on global regulatory requirements affecting ASML products
- Work with engineering, procurement, and customer support teams to assess regulatory risks and support product decisions across lifecycle models
- Support the creation and review of safety files, declarations, and global product registrations
- Represent Legal and Compliance in cross6functional groups and help strengthen governance for regulatory decisions
- Monitor regulatory developments that affect the semiconductor industry and translate them into practical actions
- Create guidance, training materials, and internal policies to help strengthen regulatory awareness and compliance
Education and experience
- Master2s degree in law
- 8-10 years of experience as a legal counsel in a complex international organization
- Background in product regulatory law, product safety, compliance frameworks, or CE marking
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams in a technical or regulated environment
- Strong level of English, both spoken and written

Other information
You will join ASML2s Legal and Compliance department as part of the Litigation, Investigations and Regulatory team. You report to the Head of Litigation, Investigations and Regulatory and work closely with teams across development, quality, sourcing, and customer support.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 7 730, et seq.).
